Art of the Workingman Joe Gaeta and Friends "Art of the Workingman" Features the smooth guitar trio stylings of Joe Gaeta, and Bassist Bill Markus, with a spicy variety of Drummers (Lorca Hart, Gene Stone, and Willie Jones III) to suit the individual character of each composition. The band really swings hard on this set! The music blends the traditions of Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and Jimmy Raney, with the modern sound of today's jazz harmonic pallette. Surely, the Critics and Jazz enthusiasts will agree that Joe Gaeta has a unique, distinctive sound. Furthermore, the performances and compositions on this album faithfully reflect Joe Gaeta's handiwork as a master craftsman. (mp3 audio samples) Rythmology Yak Yak In the Wee Small Hours |

Continuing in the style of his earlier release "Art of the Workingman", Venice Cafe swings in a style all its own.
